The event will take place at the spectacular Darwin Waterfront, in two separate locations connected by a covered walkway:

– Fort Hill Wharf – Cruise Ship Terminal: for visits on board Nave Amerigo Vespucci

– Darwin Convention Centre: for visits to the Villaggio Italia and its dedicated events

Access to the Villaggio Italia is free of charge.

Access to the events in the Villaggio Italia is free, subject to booking on the site.

Participation in events without a reservation on the site is not guaranteed and will be available subject to availability.

 

Access on the Nave Amerigo Vespucci is free, subject to a nominal reservation on the site.
You must bring ID for authorization.

HOW TO GET THERE

The Darwin Waterfront Precinct is an easy five-minute stroll from Darwin city. Also accessible by line 14 of Darwin’s public bus network or the free waterfront shuttle bus

Plot: The story of Salvatore Todaro, a submarine commander of the Royal Italian Navy who, during World War II, disobeyed to the orders to save the 26 men who had tried to sink him, accepting the risk of navigating on the surface until reaching his destination: because for him, the law of the sea was more important than the law of war.
