Accessibility on board the Vespucci Visitors with disabilities must register individually and may indicate the presence of a companion, who must also register.
Please note that, due to the Ship's structural characteristics—designed in an era when accessibility provisions were not in place—there may be limitations for visitors with reduced mobility.
In particular, architectural barriers prevent the installation of ramps for wheelchair access. As a result, for technical and safety reasons, access cannot generally be guaranteed for visitors with mobility impairments requiring aids such as wheelchairs.
The crew of the Amerigo Vespucci and the Villaggio Italia staff are fully committed to ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience for all visitors. We recognise the importance of providing the best possible experience and, where feasible within the Ship's structural constraints, individual cases will be assessed on site.
