The Fanfare of the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment of the Garibaldi Brigade.
The Fanfare of the 8th Bersaglieri Regiment of the “Garibaldi” Brigade consists of about 20 members, based in Caserta. It is engaged in numerous representative activities both nationally and internationally. It has performed in various countries such as Australia, Egypt, Belgium, France, Spain, Switzerland, and more recently in Argentina, where it took part in the celebrations for the bicentenary of the constitution of the Argentine Republic.
It has also appeared on various television programs, such as Porta a Porta and Uno Mattina, generating great enthusiasm and affection with the characteristic running march, typical of the Bersaglieri. Among its many institutional commitments, it regularly participates in the June 2nd parade, the Changing of the Guard at the Quirinale, and international visits of heads of state.
The instrumental ensemble, in keeping with tradition, is composed exclusively of brass instruments. Its repertoire ranges from military marches to classical works by the greatest composers.
The ensemble is conducted by Sergeant Major Angelo Ceruso.
